SPARKS RC Club is a non profit radio control flying club. Individuals interested in flying model aircraft are encouraged to visit and join our flying community. The club has been in existence for over 27 years. SPARKS is a club chartered by the ACADEMY OF MODEL AERONAUTICS (www.modelaircraft.org), the world's largest sport aviation organization, representing a membership of more than 170,000. Since our inception, the club has grown from a handful of RC enthusiasts to over 150 members at the present time. Our current members range in age from 12 years to over 80 years, including both male and female pilots demonstrating all levels of flying skills. For interested newcomers and novice pilots we have several instructors available, at no cost, during the week and on weekends for those individuals who want to get their wings.
